The Use of Cookies:

In short, this website uses cookies to track when you click on one of our affiliate links to purchase a product. Please reference the Disclaimer tab, to read more about affiliate links.

One of the three main goals of this site is to promote sustainable conscious consumerism.

In order to bring you Eco-friendly products, I partner with 3rd party providers like Amazon.com, The Honest Company, etc to find products that help save you money and the environment!

This means that if you click or make a purchase through certain links on this site, I may make money (at no extra charge to you). Usually, you will be taken to a 3rd party site like Amazon.com. I get paid a small commission from that 3rd party. It costs you $0 extra to purchase through my site.

How Do Cookies Work:

How does Amazon.com or other affiliate partners know that Eco Economics LLC sent them the business? Well, they use cookies to track that information.

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

Similar to other websites, this website uses cookies. We use cookies to help understand your preferences based on previous or current website activities. Thus, these cookies enable  Eco Economics to provide you with better services.

This website also uses cookies to compile aggregate data about our website traffic and website interaction so we can offer better experiences and tools in the future.

We also use cookies to keep track of advertisements.

We may use third-party services that track this information on our behalf.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings.

If you turn cookies off, it may affect your experience.

Third Party Cookies:

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice.

This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist this company in operating this website. We may also release information in order to comply with the law, enforce our website policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

It’s also important to note that we allow third-party behavioral tracking. Google, Amazon, and Facebook do these kinds of behavior tracking all the time.

For example, this is how they would know that you may want to purchase peanut butter when you have just added jelly to your check-out cart. Other people have purchased these two items together and the site offers you the option of adding that product to your cart.

Third Party Links:

Occasionally, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website.

These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. Therefore, we have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these third party sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of this website and welcome any feedback about these sites.

We use advertising on this website. Please visit our Disclaimer page for more information. Advertisements may include banner ads, affiliate links, and more.

Cookies maybe used in conjunction with the advertisements on this website.

The goal of this site is to increase conscious consumerism (when consumers “vote” for earth-friendly products and practices by purchasing from companies who put its people and the planet first). The idea is that if there is a high demand for products that protect the environment, companies will be incentivized to expand their earth friendly product lines. On the other hand, environmentally damaging companies will be economically motivated to change their practices or face going out of business. Click on the Eco Economics tab to read about the company's mission and goals.
